Words we heard – early in our lives

Ideas we were taught – at home, at school

Expectations parents and teachers had of us.

Why?

Well, because RESPECT in all its forms- helps.

It helps at home. It helps at school.

So….. for goodness sake,

…let’s be sure to practice it – at work.

Words like ‘please’ and ‘thank you’ can make the workplace a better place.

Avoiding foul language helps too.

Active ‘listening’ can help avoid misunderstandings and mistakes

Pro-active ‘helping’ helps make a cleaning business run more smoothly, more efficiently. And, happier.

Nothing new here.

The many forms of respect mentioned here are ‘things’ we first heard at a very young age.

The only thing ‘new’, for today, is simply:

1) to remember how important they still are

2) to remember we need to take the lead in practicing them and expecting them from ourselves and staff

Good things can come from practicing something as simple yet timeless as r-e-s-e-c-t in our cleaning businesses.
