Hi Katherine, our recommendation is - yes, it's ok to ask a prospective client what they're currently budgeting (or paying/month) for cleaning services. We found the key is - how you ask. We felt it worked best to ask - as part of an explanation like the one below: ''...We recognize budgets are important measures and controls in businesses, so we like to be aware of any price issues or concerns, so we can be in the best position to put together the right program including job specifications and staffing - to maximize both cleaning AND cost effectiveness.' Hope that helps and wishing you much success in your cleaning business, Matt, CleanGuru Support

When meeting with a potential customer to give a quote, would it be wrong to ask them what their cleaning budget is?
