Whether you’re just starting a cleaning business or simply want to learn new and better ways to keep your existing janitorial or residential cleaning company profitable, in these videos Dan covers topics from the latest trends in janitorial software to proven marketing strategies to help you grow.

Who should you listen to? Whose advice is worth taking? The problem is – that ‘some truth’ isn’t ‘all truth’. Just because things aren’t necessarily going well at the moment – doesn’t mean you aren’t close to a breakthrough – where you could begin to quickly grow profitably.

Problem is – it doesn’t mean you are close to a breakthrough either. These things are hard. It takes thought. It takes knowing yourself. It takes good judgment.

Check out today’s fast paced video where Dan shares the personal, emotional story of how one of Dan and Tony’s first accountants, based on how well they were or, in this case – weren’t doing – suggested they should consider getting out of the cleaning business altogether, explaining it didn’t seem like a good investment of their time and money to him. Ouch! Next, Dan will explain how they ‘processed’ that news and then finish with a few general comments to help you if you’re ever faced with similar news.

This is very true, the fact is the cleaning industry has turned into a corrupt industry with illegal immigrants working for cleaning companies and trash & dash cleaning companies bidding jobs that has deflated so badly, it is one of those questions to ask. Is it worth it?
California is a terrible state to be in the cleaning business, we have the highest corporate tax, the highest workmen’s comp policies and the highest unemployment insurance.
The point is, profits are so low, I have not gotten any increases from any clients whatsoever, none except one. I have clients that have denied paying me more 10 years ago and still have not paid me more since then, especially with raising cost of wages, insurance and low ball competition.
So on this last reserve; I am hoping we can switch this situation around, that is voting for Trump, there is no other way to help our cleaning business than having the right president who cares about fair business.
